Auckland, January 20. There is no change in this market since our last report. The ordinary coming forward is of poor quality. East Coast is quiet and dull,with few buyers. Owing to the holidays the suppliea are small for this month uo far, being for 20 days about 280 tons. We quote : — Ordinary... ... ... ... ... £38 Poor ordinary (nomina ! ) ... £25 to £30 Unpicked ordinary, from £42, upwards East Coast (dull) £70 to £72 A property adjoining Admiralty House was offered for salo at the Crown Lands Office yesterday, but tho upseb price, £10 per annum, was not reached.
