4t the meeting of the Board of Education to-day a letter was read from the Auckland Schools Committee drawing attention to a letter they had received from the headmaster of the Bereeford - street School, in which he asked for some definite information with regard to the supplies of material not yet delivered, and Btat'ntr it was impossible to carry out the nrovmous of the syllabus. The Remuera School Committee also wrote to the sp.me effect It was a'-'reed to communicate with Patterson and Coe. anent the matter, and hfs afternoon the following reply was received :-" He memo from Uty SehooS Committee. The pencil-holders ?nd rules have arrived, and we shall supply immediately. The erasers, comSee and further supply of set squares are now ordered from England and are due n ? Ip lT.
