DEVONPORT DOMAIN BOARD.

At a meeting of the Devonport and Mount Victoria Road Board, held last evening, a resolution wag adopted approving of tho ap" plication made by the Devonporb Borough Council to have the Mayor appointed a member (ex officio) of the Domain Board. A copy of the resolution will be forwarded Co the Minister for Crown Lands. Mr R. W. Duders tender of £28 for right of grazing Devonport Domain for 12 months was ac cepted. The Chairman was authorised to see W. J. Champion respecting proposed drainage works on the Domain, and report to next meeting as to probable cost of work. The Secretary was instructod to draw the attention of the Borough Council to the fact that the whole of the storm water from North Head and adjacent lands wa3 turned into the Domain, and to request that steps be taken to divert the water to tho sea.
