A Horribly Cruel Crime

Hawera, Tuesday. The body of Kaihal, the native woman supposed to have been murdored by her husband, To Rchi, was oxhumod this morning, and an inquost opened. The medical evidence showed that tho woman had been brutally murdored. Tho skull was free tured, tho breast smaehed in, and extensive injury done to tho abdomen, arms, logs, and face. AU pans of the body were more or less injured ; but the nock was not dislocated, as expected. The inquest was adjourned till April 4. Thero is immense difficulty in getting evidence, aßthe natives decline to give any testimony as to tue affair.
