The elaborate preparations which are being made for the dramatic season that Geo. Darrell inaugurates on Boxing Night with tho production of bis celebrated drama, "The Sunny South," are now well advanced, and afford the assurance of a succession of rare treats. Especial care is being taken to mount realistically the various plays, and a thrilling performance may be anticipated on the opening night, The dramatis personae in " The Sunny South " are as follow:—Matt Morley (an Anglo-Australian), Worthy Chester (an English gentleman), Ivo Came (of the genue—new ohum), Ben Brewer (a representative digger), Eli Grup (a man on change), Perfidy Pounce (a hian of business), Johnny Jinks (a eon of the soil), Dick Duggan (a bushranger), Black Steve (his mate), Black Trackqr Jim (a native companion), Tommy Toffs (a tintinnabuliat) Sergeant Swoop (a hot copper), Station Master (on the ranges), "Babs" Berkley (bred in the bush), Clarice Cheater (born in tho purple), Rebecca (H)Ann (reared in the kitchen), Matilda Wander, and Mrs Mulrooney; besides diggers, bushrangers, policemen, civilians, bailiffs, girla, &c , by fifty auxiliaries. The namesof the characters show that Mr Darrell has a penchant for "Apt alliteration's artful aid."
