THROUGH the courtesy of Mr Wayland, we are placed iv possession of the vital statistics of the Registry District of Auckland for the March quarter of tho present year. They are as follows :-Total births, 374; total (It-aths, 212 ; total marriages, 100. Of these 100 marriages, 40 wore solemnised in churches, ">0 in dwelling-house?, and 30 in the olliee of Uio llcgistrar. For the benelit of the uninformed in such matters, it may be
stated that the Auckland Registry District is bounded ou tho north by tin: districts of UclensvillC! and Wahvera; on the south by (liv district of Diury aud the Southern Wairoa; aud ou the east and west by the sea ; and that it includes Waiheke, Motutapu, and adjacent islands.
