There is a large assembly of natives at Waitoma, lamenting over the death, of Potatau's grandsop, Takene te Kau, Tawhaio's youngest son, who is ill, and not expected to live. , ~.- J j The Masonic ball here to-night is expected to tbe a great success. It| is expected to eclipse all other previous affairs.
