AKAROA CRICKET CLUB

OPENING OF SEASON

A good crowd rolled up ty the opening of the cricket season last Saturday on the Recreation Ground. A good practice was held, each batsman being allowed 10 minutes at the wickets. Several school boys and youtns played and showed great promise for our future cricketers. The matches foi the season will be arranged shortly with the other clubs, when we hope to see the game going m full swing.
