AN ENJOYABLE WEEK ENR SPENT. The institution of annual re-union: between District High Shool pupil: provides a great deal of pleasure anc nvich benefit is derived from these annual gatherings in establishing associations which will be valued ir after life. Last year the Akaroa District High School pupils visited Sumiiei and Lyttelton District Higl School pupils and the I Sumner children paid a return, visit. On- Friday next the Akaroa pupils will again repeat their visit to Sumner and' Lyttelton. On Friday the pupils of the South!>ridge District High School visited Akaroa. The cold snap and wintry conditions early j n , the day were not at all propitious; but despite snow clad hiils- the sun shone brightly in the afternoon and the pupils of' the two schools were able to participate m games. The visitors were able to see both wintry and spring conditions lor the hills were lightly coated with snow.
