LAUDER NOTES

YOUNG FARMERS' CLUB The monthly meeting of the Upper Manuherikia Young Farmers' Club was held in the. Lauder Hall on Tuesday, 11th February, when Mr Alan Brown presided over a good attendance of twenty-one members. After the general business had been disposed of the ways and means of raising money for the Y.F.C. Memorial Fund were discussed. It had been the hope of the club to hold a large scale gala s day, but owing to unforseen circumstances this was abandoned. To raise its share the club has now decided to run a raffle with prizes to'the value of £6O. An enjoyable evening was brought to ? close with suooer. Anyone wishing to join the club is asked to attend meetings held on the second Tuesday of each month.
