BOWLING

The concluding round of the Centhe Shield matches was played on Saturday last. Only three and a-half points separated Alexandra and Arrowtown and this match created great interest. Alexandra won all three games; at Roxburgh Alexandra won four out of five games and lost a game at Millers Flat. The local club are to be congratulated on winning the shield; especially considering nine rinks were entered.
