“LOVELY BABY”

GRAND-DAUGHTER OF OUEEN EXCELLENT PROGRESS (N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright). (Rec. 9 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 18. Queen Elizabeth said to-day that Princess Elizabeth and her infant daughter and Prince Charles would join the lioyal family at Balmoral Castle later this summer. Her Majesty said this when she arrived at Aberdeen by air from London to join King George at Balmoral. The Queen, who visited Princess Elizabeth at Clarence House before leaving London, described her granddaughter as a “lovely baby.” It is expected that the infant princess will be christened at Balmoral Castle. Nineteen-year-old Princess Margaret was at Aberdeen airport to greet her mother. In London to-day, Sir John Weir, physician to the Royal family, and Sir William Gilliatt, gynaecologist, again visited Princess Elizabeth. No official statement was issued, but is was learned to-night that the Princess and her daughter are continuing to make excellent progress.—Reuter.
