JOINT SERVICES MISSION
LORD TEDDER TO BE HEAD (10.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 16. The Minister for Defence, Mr E. Shinwell, announced to-day in the House of Commons, that Marshal of the Royal Air Force Lord Tedder had been appointed Chairman of the British joint services mission in Washington. Lord Tedder will also become British representative on the standing group of the North Atlantic Military Committee.
