ANNIVERSARY OF TREATY OF WAITANGI (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Mar. 10. The Government will give every consideration to having February 6, the anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, recognised officially in New Zealand as New Zealand Day. The Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr W. A. Bodkin) gave this promise to-day to a deputation from the New Zealand Founders’ Society. The Society has sought official recognition of the day since its inception, and has waited three years for a hearing with the Government on the matter,
