CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW

HAMPSTEAD ARRANGEMENTS A meeting of the committee of the Hampstead Flower! Show w T as held in the Memorial Hall’ last evening. Mr H. Hepburn presided over a good at % tendance. Mr J. E. Fraser reported that the children’s fancy dress procession from Chalmers Avenue would be held on show day. The committee appointed to revise sections A and B reported that that they had enlarged section A by three classes and reduced Section b by four classes.

It was decided that a class for tapestry be inserted in section L and that the decorative section, as constituted, be left in the schedule. Mr G. Petrie is to bo asked to organise the concert for show night. The following stewards were appointed: Flower sections, Messrs McNally and Tarbotton; produce, Messrs Inch and Porter; fruit, Messrs Spencer and Coward; decorative, Miss Smith; sewing and knitting, Miss Gilbert and Mrs Donn; children’s flowers, Mesdames Coates and Grahame; cookery section, Miss Vucetich; hobbies section, Mr Martin and Miss Patterson.

The following "draw committee was set up:' Messrs Hepburn, Hitchins, Spicer, Fraser, Tarbottom and Sutherland.

Stall holders were appointed as follows: Sweets and ice cream, Mrs J. E. McQuarters; cakes, Mrs A. Sutherland; tea-room, Mrs C. Hawkey;variety, Miss Thomson; produce, Mr J. Kirk,
