CHOICE OF NEW WHIPS
POST FOR MR R. G. GERARD (P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 3. Mr R. G. Gerard, M.P. (Ashburton), has been selected as Junior Government Whip. Mr A. S. Sutherland, M.P. (Hauraki), will be the senior whip. These appointments, which were made by the caucus of the Parliamentary National Party, were announced by the Prime Minister (Mr S. G. Holland). to-night.
