COMMENT ON REPORTS ON POPE’S HEALTH (P.A.) AUCKLAND, March 3. Paying his first visit to this portion of his territory since he was appointed little more than a year ago, the Most Rev. Paul Marella, Apostolic Delegate to Australia, New Zealand, and Oceania, arrived to-day at Auckland by flying-boat from Sydney. During a month’s stay in the' Dominion he will undertake a busy round of functions, ceremonies, and church services as far south as Dunedin. Archbishop Marella was welcomed at the air base by Bishop Liston. Asked if he could confirm .• recent reports that the Pope was in poor health, Archbishop Marella said: “I have received no information. - I should have, and would have, if these reports were true.”
