COMMUNIST OPPOSITION MOVE \ t LONDON, January 3. Mr Ernest Bevin will he carried in a chair to the first floor conference room for the meeting of the Commonwealth Foreign Ministers’ conference in Ceylon, which opens on Monday. The officials have arranged for the personal comfort of Mr Bevin, who was ill just before leaving London. Elaborate plans have been completed for the talks. Five Ceylon Army officers and three officers of the Ceylon Royal NavaD Volunteers Reserve will look after the personal comfort of each delegate. Mr Bevin and Mr Nehru may speak publicly when with the Canadian Minister of External Affairs, Mr Lester Pearson, they receive honorary doctorates from the Ceylon University. i The Communist - Dominated allCeylon Trade Union Federation and other allied organisations have called an all-Ceylon peace conference in Colombo during the meeting of the Commonwealth Foreign Ministers. The main object will be to condemn the war preparations by the Atlantic Powers and the use of atomic energy in warfare. The Ceylon Government has banned the use of loud-speakers, and any type of demonstration.
