TWO DEAD AND 22 INJURED MEXICO CITY, Jan. 3. Two cab drivers were trampled to death and 22 other persons, including three policemen, were injured to-day, when the police broke up a meeting in Mexico City to demonstrate against the arrest of 111 cab-drivers. The police used tear-gas, batons and rifle butts in a battle which lasted fer nearly three hours. They arrested 477 persons. The 111 drivers were arrested yesterday, when a large number tried to obtain an audience with the President (Mr Miguel Aleman) to protest against the granting of 500 new cab permits in recent months.
