STRIKE OF SYDNEY COMPOSITORS
(Rec. 11 a.m.) SYDNEY; This Day. • a strike occurred in the offices of the Sydney “Daily Telegraph” late last night and the paper did not pub- ' lish this morning.' It is understood % that a member of the composing staff was ordered to remain on duty until 3 a.m. and refused to do so. He was given a fortnight’s notice of dismissal, whereupon all Union labour was withdrawn.
