IMPLACABLE SCUTTLED

VETERAN WARSHIP OF TRAFALGAR t - • 1" LONDON, Dec. 2. The old Implacable, the veteran warship that fought at Trafalgar, has gone to sea for the last time. Last night Implacable lay off Spithead, stripped of her masts and superstructure, ready to be ceremoniously scuttled to-night. As a symbol of the service that she gave Bi'itain and France in 150 years of peace and war, slie flew the White Ensign and the Tricolour at tlio stern. As the scuttling charges in the hull send Implacable' plunging below the Channel waters with flags flying, buglers in the destroyer Finisterre will sound Last Post and flags of all nearby naval vessels will be at halfmast.

• Now, Nelson’s flagship, the Victory, moored at Portsmouth, will be the only Trafalgar survivor.
