ASHBURTON LADIES’ CLUB BOGEY MATCH PLAYED The Ashburton Ladies’ Golf Club conducted a sealed bogey match for Mrs S. H. Truman’s trophy yesterday. The winner was Mrs A. Caithness with Miss J. Thomas runner-up.

METHVEN LADIES DEFEATED A team from the Christchurch Ladies’ Golf , Club beat a team from the Methven Ladies’ Club by four games to one in a match for the Boyle Cup played at Shirley during the week. The following were the results (Christchurch name's mentioned first): Mrs Stedman beat Mrs O’Connell; Mrs Stringer beat Mrs Gourley; Mrs Hobbs lost to Mrs Wilson; Mrs Cooper beat Mrs Currie; Miss Firth beat Mrs Waddington.
