TOKEN STRIKES
BRITISH RAILWAYMEN (Rec. 12.15 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 19. Locomotive creAvs at the four main depots on the British Railways east coast route decided, to-day, to resume Sunday token strikes in protest against “lodging turns” —duties Avhich require men to spend-nights aAvay from home. The first strikes are due to begin at midnight to-morroAV.
