EXCOMMUNICATED COMMUNISTS
(Rec. 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. IS. Tile Associated Press Rome ‘correspondent says that excommunicated Italian Communists may take the lead in forming a new church, according to the pro-Communist newspaper “II Prese.” , , The paper said: “If Pontificial hostility should continue, millions and millions of believers may leave the ranks of the faithful and turn themselves toward the new altars. It would not he outside logic to believe that from Italy the cradle of so many spiritual initiatives, a decisive impulse could arise to assemble and unite trends already existing m various countries.”
