MR BEVAN’S OPINION LONDON, April 16. The Foreign Secretary (Mr ErnestBevin), on his return from America to-day, expressed his belief in the strength and comradeship of the British Empire. , When a correspondent suggested that it would be a good idea_to have an all-Empire Cabinet with Commonwealth representatives in London, Mr Bevin replied: “You could not do that. It would be all right in wartime, perhaps, but not in peace, ihe Dominions do not want it.”
