Keen Competition for Best Lines GOOD PRICES REALISED Up to mid-day only two-tooth ewes had been offered at the annual breeders’ ewe fair at the Timvald yards. Competition for the best lines Avas keen, the top price at this stage being 59s for lines sold on account of R. Oakley ,of Mayfield ,and W. Taylor, of Springfield. The total entry at the sale Avas only 17,920, compared Avith 31,000 last year. Only a feAV pens offered did not reach vendors’ values.
