SPANISH ROYAL FAMILY

PHOTOGRAPHS APPEAR IN MADRID NEWSPAPERS MADRID, February 27. “For the first time since General Franco came to power, photographs of the Spanish Royal Family and articles about the monarchy are appearing in Madrid newspapers,” says the British United Press. ‘“The entire front page of the Monarchist newspaper ‘A.B.C.’ to-day features photographs of the late King Alfonso, Don Juan, and Don Juan’s son, Juan Carlos. This is the first photograph of Don Juan published in Spanish newspapers since 1931, when the Republic proclaimed the Royal Family’s exile.”
