SPANISH EXPRESS DERAILED
CARRIAGES PLUNGE OVER EMBANKMENT MADRID, February 13. At least three persons were killed and 12 injured when the Madrid-Bar-celona express was derailed soon after midnight about 40 miles west of Tavragona, says the Associated Press. Three carriages plunged over an embankment and rolled 40 yards, to the dry bed of a creek. Rescue trains and ambulances were sent to the scene. More dead and injured are expected to be found in the twisted wreckage.
