SOVIET ALLEGES BLACKMARKETING (Rec. 10.55 a.m.) BERLIN, Jan. 7. The Soviet Military Government of Germany has asked the .Yugoslav 'Military Mission in Berlin to withdraw all Yugoslav officials involved in black marketeering and to reduce the staff from 260 to 20, says Sovietlicensed German News Agency. This action was taken after the arrest of 10 Yugoslav officials in the Soviet zone, including “two representatives of Yugoslav Ministries,-” who “toured the Soviet Zone under the pretext of. carrying through trade agreements but were in fact engaged in the sale of food, cigarettes and textiles on the black-market.”

The Yugoslav Mission decided to ignore the allegations. The spokesman -said that all the persons mentioned were Yugoslav displaced persons.
