NEW COMMANDER IN AMERICA (Rec. 9.10) WASHINGTON, Jan. 7. Lieutenant-General John E. Hull' (commander of the army forces in the Pacific) has been appointed to direct the American defence establishments’ programme of deciding what weapons and systems of weapons would win a future war. , General Hull commanded the atomic bomb tests at Eniwetok.
