PEACE PENDING
LIBERALS AND COUNTRY IN ' VICTORIA (Rec. 12,5.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Liberal Party in Victoria will oppose the Country Party in all seats at the next State and Federal elections. This announcement by the State Liberal president (Mr H. Lormack) spells the end of Liberal and Country Party co-operation in v ictoria and is the culmination of weeks ox fruitless negotiation following industrial and political troubles over the Victorian Essential Services Act.
