Central Heating for Moscow Flats. — Three hundred blocks of flats in Moscoav are to be provided with a mass central-heating system with “Avaste” hot Avater from the city’s poAver stations, reports the British United Press. The Avater, which until noAv has been emptied into the river, will be brought to a temperatre of 150 degrees centigrade under pressure, and will Aoav along pipes which Avill link the flats Avitli the poAver stations. Russia hopes to save 40,000 tons of coal yearly by using this system.
