NAVAL STATION NEAR KIEL

DEMOLITION BEGUN BERLIN, December 7. , Demolition of the torpedo station near Kiel started to-day, in spite, of strong German opposition throughout Schleswig-Holstein. Trade unionists, Social Democrats and Liberals have declared a social boycott of British occupation forces in protest against the demolition. The British Regional Commissioner (Mr William Astbury) said that the station had played a considerable part, twice in a generation, in the most serious threat. e\ - er offered to Britain’s security.'Jt Avas a most dangerous potential, which the British Government was determined to liquidate. However, 149 buildings would be spared for temporary housing.
