Mr Semple at Fairfield
“I am not a farmer and I can’t grow even a turnip,” said the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple, addressing farmers at the fat lamb competition at Fairfield to-day. “You can dig a hole through a hill though,” said a voice from the rear of the crowd.
