NURSES’ ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL MEETING HELD —— There was a large attendance at the annual meeting of the Ashburton Registered Nurses’ Association last evening, and a good year of progress was reported. Officers were elected as follow: President, Miss J. Poff; vice-presi-dents, Mrs H. Brown and Miss W. Wilson; secretary, Miss J. riorrack; treasurer, Mrs W. Bryant; council, Mesdames W. G. Todd, R. Bruce, J. Lee, W. H. Rundle, L. Christmas, E. Hall, and Misses V. Leslie, N. Carter and P. Wilson. The annual report of the student nurses was presented by Miss O’Connor. After the formal business, Miss Poff was hostess at a very enjoyable social session.
