The fight for the light-weight boxing title of Australia between Vic Patrick and Mickey Tollis ended in a draw after a 15 rounds’ bout. Patrick went for a knock-out from the start, and Tollis, who had had difficulty in getting his weight down to fist fill), and had scarcely eaten since Friday, appeared weak. Patrick also tired after the eighth round and it was d spectacular finish by Tollis that enabled him to gain a draw.
