SOLDIER ACQUITTED

ALLEGED LIBELLOUS STATEMENTS (Rec. 11 a.m.) CAIRO, October 30. Lieutenant Kenneth Alexander Gourlay, R.A.0.C., was acquitted on both charges of libel.

Gourlay was charged with making libellous statements about Mr J. V. W. Shaw, former secretary to the Palestine Government and against the 6th Airborne Division.
