OFFICERS FOR NEW YEAR ELECTED The balance-sheet presented at the animal meeting of the Ashburton Tennis Club on Wednesday evening showled a credit balance of £lO5, with £lO5 outstanding by way of debentures.

The opening date was left to the committee to decide.

Connor and C. Denham; women’s committee, Mesdames W. G. Todd, W. Drummond, N. Farrant, Misses P. Cullen and B. Vincent; delegate to Ashburton Sports Association, Mr K. Oakley; delegates to Mid-Canterbury Tennis Sub-Asso-ciation, Messrs Stephenson and Armstrong; auditor, Mr J. Bathgate.
