COUNTY CANDIDATE CAMPAIGN Aiming to further the interests oi' the County candidate'in connection with the queen carnival of the R.S.A. building fund, a meeting of representatives of all patriotic committees of the county was hold yesterday. Mr R. D. Robinson presided over a good attendance. _ _ Following discussion, it was decided I hat a collection he made in all districts which have not already made contributions to the building fund and, further. Unit all other districts be asked 1o hold entertainments, etc., to raise money in support of Miss Catherine Sim’s candidature. Tentative plans were also made tor holding a ball at Ashburton, and inquiries are being made as 1o whether the committees of oilier candidates will also join in, so making a large combined function at which the public will be provided an opportunity 1o become acquainted with the candidates personally.
