COUPONS SAVED
INCREASES AT ASHBURTON Food coupons saved at Ashburton, in the aid for Britain campaign, showed a substantial increase this week, compared with (lie similar previous period. Meat coupons saved this week numbered 2023, against 1725 last week, while butter coupons totalled 44, compared with only seven in the previous seven days. Splendid work in collection of coupons has been carried out regularly by (he pupils of the Technical High School. Their contribution this week was 1456 coupons, mostly meat, bringing their total for the 18 weeks of the campaign *to the excellent tally .of 12,633. This gives the fine weekly average of just over 700 coupons saved by the pupils.
