RUSSIA ASKS FOR POSTPONEMENT LONDON, August 21. Mr Molotov (Russia) addressed a Note to Mr Trygve Lie (SecretaryGeneral of the United Nations) asking for the postponement of the United Nations meeting scheduled for September 23 to December or January. . The Paris correspondent of tlie Exchange Telegraph Agency says it is understood the French delegation favours the suggestion. The British delegation suggests that the Peace Conference should continue with second delegates while the first attend the United Nations. The Americans so far have not commented.
