SUCCESS OF ASHBURTON • / * The fortnightly meeting of the Success of Ashburton Lodge, No. 22, U.A.0.D., was held on Tuesday, Acting A.Q. Sister T. Eyles presiding over a good attendance of members. The bards’ report was received, and sick pay passed in favour of three members. Bro. E. E. Beach, D.P., No. S District, installed the following officers: A.D., Sister A. Hawkes; V.A.D., Sister D. Davison; secretary, Sister H. E. Thomas; treasurer, Sister T. Eyles; minute secretary, Sister E. Beach: A.D.8., Sister Li Meaclem; 1.G., Sister N. Baker; V.A.8., Sister J. Cox. The D.P. also installed the following officers of the Star of Ashburton Lodge during the meeting: A.D., Bro. L. Finlay; V.A.D., Bro. W. Childs; treasurer, Bro. A. Renner; minute secretary, Bro. A. C. Vincent; A.D.8., Bro. A. Peterson; 1.C., Bro. H. Doak One candidate was proposed for membership.
