ALLENTON SCHOOL
NEW CHAIRMAN ELECTED There was a full attendance of members at a meeting of the Alienton School Committee last evening, and thd main business was the election of the new chairman, Mr J. H. Ward being appointed to the position. Messrs C. G. Jessep and H. T. Wakelin were appointed the visiting committee for the month. • Present at the meeting, besides Mr Ward, were the following: Mesdames H. Vartha and G. Knox, Messrs Jessep, Wakelin, J. J. Childs, W. Keith, W. Ellwood, C. M. Thomas and W. T. Corbett (hon. sec.).
