Death in Atomic Bomb Accident. — Dr. Louis Slotin, a Winnipeg scientist, has died from radiation disease which he contracted in ithe accident at the atom bomb laboratory at Los Alamos, New Mexico. Seven others were injured but Dr. Slotin’s promptness in dispersing fissionable material prevented more serious consequences.
