WIN FOR LOS ANGELES DRIVER (Rec. 1.30.) NEW YORK, May 30. George Robson, of Los Angeles, aged 36 driving a. six-cylinder Thorne engineering special, won the i>oo-mne cnr race at the Indianapolis motor speedway in 261 min IGse-c, averaging 114.82 miles an hour. . Robson, who lias never previously won a major race, defeated Jimmy Jaccson, the veteran dirt track driver, bv less than one minute. The first prize was 20,000 dollars, plus 13,800 dollars lap prize-money.
