BODY FOUND IN AVON

(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 80. The body of Charles Edward Robinson, married, a labourer, aged 35, was found in the River Avon near Rhododendron Island, above the Bridge of Remembrance, at 11.40 a.m. to-day. He was last known to be in his dwelling at 19 Swann’s road at 5 p.m. on May 24, at which hour he left after seating his intention of going to the West Coast. The body appeared to have been in the river for several days.
