SHEEP JUDGING.

COMPETITION AT METHVEN. Sixteen members of the Methven Young Farmers’ Club attended a sheep-judging competition held op Mr A. F. Marr’s farm. lan Wilson won the cup for most points in judging the Border Leicester and Romney classes. Placings in sections were: Border Leicester, Angus McKay 1, lan Wilson 2, Trevor Callaghan 3. Romney: lan Wilson and Trevor Callaghan (equal) 1, Stewart Callaghan and Clem Fody (equal) 2. The sheep for judging were provided by Messrs Man* and R. J. Low. Mrs Man* entertained members of the Club at afternoon tea.
