MAN ELECTROCUTED.

ANOTHER SERIOUSLY BURNED. (P.A.) WAIPUKURAU, November 19. While engaged in work connected with a soil erosion survey near Waipukurau jyesterday afternoon, two Public Works Department employees received electric shocks. One died and the other was severely burned. They are: Dead. Mr Angus Mackay, married, aged 30, of Eketahuna.

Severely Burned.

Mr Rayner James Jose, who was admitted to hospital in a serious condition.

The two men were using a steel tape. Maekay was on a hill 50 feet above a 11,000-volt line, and Jose m the paddock below. The steel tape touched the bottorfi of the high-tension line.
