SALE OF WORK.
Over £23 was realised at a sale-of-work held by the Tinwald Anglican Girls’ Bible-class in the Parish Hall. The proceeds will be given to the Missions and Sunday School funds. A concert arranged by Miss O. Webster was much enjoyed. Items were given as follow: Recitations, Joan Skilling, Aileen Aldridge and Betty Cleeve; banjo-mandolin solos, Ray and lan Carroll; songs, Merle Berstein, Rona Reddicliffe and Daphne Wqjjster; tapdance, Betty Cleeve; piano solo, Rona Reddiciiffe; piano duet, Daphne and Olivo Webster. The stall-holders were: Sweets Misses P. Aldridge and D. Knudsen; jumble, Mesdames E. Stigley and Rodd; variety, Miss E. Turner and Mrs J. Sutherland; produce, Misses N. Houston and M. Sewell; cake, Misses M. Jennings and M. Brown.
