LODGE MEETING.
STAR OF ASHBURTON, U.A.O.D. The Star of Ashburton Lodge, U.A.0.D., met last evening, the A.D. (Bro. A. W. Dailey) presiding. The Bards reported on visits to sick members and sick pay in favour of 14 members was granted. The Lily of Temuka Lodge invited members to the celebration of its 21st anniversary on Tuesday, November 2. The invitation was accepted, subject to transport arrangements. As the next lodge night falls on Labour Day it was decided not to hold a meeting, the secretary being authorised to pay sick pay.
